Hemp rope is a versatile option, perfect for suspension, decorative tying, self-tie, or bedroom play. Its strength and natural texture make it a popular choice for both beginners and experienced rope users.

    • Cleaning: Chain knot or braid the rope and place it in a pillowcase or lingerie bag. Wash on a cold, gentle cycle with a small amount of rope soap. Use an extra spin cycle if needed to remove excess water.
    • Drying: Leave the rope braided or knotted and hang it to dry for 2 days. Once the surface is dry, unknot it and allow it to fully air dry for an additional 4–5 days (longer in humid climates).
    • Oiling: Apply a small amount of rope oil or unscented baby oil to recondition your rope. Avoid animal or plant-based oils, as these can cause rotting over time.
  • Our Soft Mint Hemp Rope is one of the softest options available, making it ideal for sensitive skin, self-tie, and decorative uses. This rope is not suitable for suspension.

    • Cleaning: Hand wash only with cold water and mild rope soap. Machine washing is not recommended to protect the delicate fibres.
    • Drying: Hang in a cool, ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Nylon is a synthetic material known for its smooth texture, durability, and versatility. It’s a practical choice for all-purpose rope play, offering both strength and flexibility.

    • Cleaning: Wash unknotted nylon rope on a gentle cycle with rope soap. Use a lingerie bag if needed.
    • Drying: Air dry in a cool, shaded area to avoid damage from heat or sunlight.
    • Features: Nylon is resistant to moisture absorption and fraying, making it a long-lasting and low-maintenance option.
  • Cotton rope is soft, lightweight, and ideal for decorative ties and intricate patterns. Its smooth texture makes it comfortable for wear and gentle on the skin.

    • Cleaning: Hand wash gently to preserve the softness and longevity of the fibres. Avoid machine washing unless absolutely necessary.
    • Drying: Hang in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat or sunlight, which can weaken the fibres.
    • Care Tips: Cotton can retain moisture, so ensure it is completely dry before storage to prevent mould or damage.
  • Silk bamboo rope combines strength and softness, making it ideal for gentle tying, decorative purposes, and non-abrasive play.

    • Cleaning: Hand wash in cold water with a small amount of rope soap. Avoid washing machines or dryers, as they may stretch or damage the fibres.
    • Drying: Hang in a shaded, ventilated area and allow to air dry naturally. A gentle stretch during drying can help maintain the rope's shape.
  • Jute rope is strong, lightweight, and durable, making it a favourite for tying and binding. Its natural fibres provide excellent grip and texture.

    • Cleaning: After use, rinse with water, especially if exposed to sweat. Allow it to dry completely before storing to prevent bacteria or mould growth.
    • Treatment: Use a small amount of rope oil to maintain flexibility. For new ropes, tumble dry with rope butter, then lightly singe loose fibres with a gas flame for a smooth finish.
    • Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight or moisture to protect the fibres.
