Latex needs a little extra love, but look after it properly and your second skin will stay looking delicious for longer.
BEFORE YOU WEAR
Latex naturally has a matte finish. Use latex powder for an easy-to-slip-on, matte grunge look or latex shine for that glossy, wet-look finish.
For tighter pieces, apply a small amount of latex-safe dressing aid or powder to the inside of the garment and your skin to help it glide on.
Take your time when dressing. Avoid pulling latex with fingernails, jewellery or anything sharp as this can puncture or tear the material.
CLEANING
We recommend washing your latex after each wear.
Hand wash gently in lukewarm water with a small amount of mild, unscented soap or latex-safe wash. Rinse thoroughly and allow excess water to run off naturally.
Do not machine wash, wring, tumble dry, iron or dry clean.
DRYING
Allow your latex to air dry completely in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight and heat.
Once completely dry, lightly dust with latex powder before storing to help prevent the latex from sticking to itself.
SHINE OR MATTE?
Your latex, your mood.
For a matte, grungier finish, lightly dust your piece with latex powder.
For that glassy, second-skin shine, apply a latex-safe silicone shine or polish before wearing.
STORAGE
Store latex completely clean and dry in a cool, dark place away from sunlight and heat.
Keep different colours stored separately, especially black, bright, light and sheer latex, as colour transfer can occur.
Avoid prolonged contact with metal, particularly copper and brass, as it can permanently stain latex. Take extra care with light and sheer colourways.
